About this site

This site contains sound clips from the Bradford Heritage Recording Unit which carried out extensive oral history recordings in the Bradford District during the 1980s. The full transcripts are deposited in the local studies section at Bradford Central Library; further recordings are also available there to listen to.

Alongside these historic recordings we are pleased to present an online version of the work by Ralph Hudson, 'The Bradford Pals', published by Bradford Libraries, Archives and Information Service, 2000 (3rd edition).
