I send my heartfelt congratulations to Keighley Library, the people who use this excellent facility and those men and women who have, over the past 100 years, worked for this superb institution, the country's first Carnegie library.

We in Keighley are justifiably proud of the fact that our town made history, with more than a little help from Andrew Carnegie, and we must do all that we can to ensure a further 100 years for the Library, which will be helped greatly by the major refurbishment to take place shortly.
